Who handles your information

WebBoss is a service of Sami Swain Web Spinner UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16465462. Its registered office is 69 Cadley Causeway, Fulwood, Preston PR2 3RX. The company is the data controller for personal information sent through this website, and it also trades as Web Spinner UK.

Information sent through the website

When you submit an enquiry, WebBoss receives the details you enter, the page used, referral and campaign information, your IP address and basic browser information. This is used to reply, assess the project, prevent abuse and keep a record of the commercial conversation.

Analytics

Google Analytics is used to understand which pages and sources lead to useful visits and enquiries. It may set identifiers in your browser and receive technical information about your visit. Google processes that information under its own terms.

Cookies

Two essential cookies are always set, because the site cannot work safely without them. The session cookie (webboss-session) keeps the enquiry form working between pages, and XSRF-TOKEN protects the form from being sent by another website. Both last only for your visit or a short time after it.

Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by a code) are optional and are only set after you choose Accept analytics. Your choice is saved in your browser under the name webboss.analytics-consent, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings button at the foot of every page.

Sharing and retention

Information is shared only with service providers needed to host, secure, measure or respond to the website, or where the law requires it. Enquiry records are retained only for as long as they remain useful for the project, legal records or legitimate business administration.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of personal information, or object to its use, by emailing sam@webspinneruk.com. Some records may need to be kept where there is a legal or contractual reason.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact Sami Swain Web Spinner UK Ltd first so the matter can be put right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
