WB / API INTEGRATIONS
API integration development for systems that must agree
Make your systems exchange the right data reliably
WebBoss connects websites, apps and business tools so information moves once, ownership stays clear and failures do not disappear silently.
Discuss this project01 / THE WORK
A connection is only useful when it can be trusted
Good integration work defines authentication, field ownership, timing, retries and failure alerts before data starts moving. It also accepts the limits of each third party service.
A strong fit when
- 01Customer or order data is copied between systems
- 02The website and CRM disagree about the latest information
- 03A payment, booking or accounting flow needs a dependable link
- 04An existing integration fails without useful diagnostics
02 / WHAT IS INCLUDED
A build you can understand, operate and continue.
- 01API capability and security review
- 02Field mapping and source of truth decisions
- 03Authentication, data transfer and retry logic
- 04Logs, monitoring and failure notifications
- 05Technical documentation and support handover
03 / HOW THE BUILD WORKS
How an integration build works
Production work is split into agreed stages with a written scope, payment points and acceptance criteria.
- 01
Understand the work
Check what each system’s API allows, which system owns each record and how often data needs to move.
- 02
Agree the first scope
Write down what the first release includes, what waits for later, the price and the review points. Discovery is normally paid in advance.
- 03
Build and demonstrate
Review the working connection with sample data at agreed stages, so misunderstandings surface while they are still cheap to fix.
- 04
Release and support
Plan testing, launch, monitoring, documentation and the route for later changes.
04 / WHAT IT IS BUILT WITH
What integrations are built with
- Integration code
- Laravel on PHP 8.2 to 8.5
- APIs already used
- Google (Search Console, Analytics 4 and Places), the Meta Graph API and the Anthropic Claude API
- Database
- MySQL or MariaDB
- Hosting
- cPanel Linux hosting
Other platforms are checked in discovery rather than promised blindly, because each one has its own limits.
05 / WHAT AFFECTS THE COST
What affects the cost of an integration
Custom software and APIs start at £3,000, with typical delivery in 2 to 10 weeks.
That covers a defined first scope. These are the things that move a written quote above the starting figure.
- Number of systems and the quality of their APIs
- How many fields and records must stay in step
- How often data must move between systems
- Retry, logging and failure alert requirements
- Authentication and security rules of each service

06 / RELATED PROJECT
Pets Connected
A pet marketplace where a Laravel back end serves a separate Next.js front end, so listings and accounts pass between two applications.
See the Pets Connected project07 / PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before the first workshop
Can you integrate a system without an API?
Sometimes an approved export, import or webhook route is available. Screen scraping and fragile workarounds are avoided unless the risk is understood and accepted.
How are credentials protected?
Secrets are stored outside source code, access is limited and production permissions are kept to the minimum required.
Can you repair an existing integration?
Yes. A technical review can trace the current data flow, inspect logs and identify whether repair or replacement is the safer route.
NEXT STEP
Show WebBoss what needs to work better.
Send the current process, the people involved and the result you need. You will get a direct recommendation on the most sensible next step.
